Case study · Run4Roo

Run themhome.

Run4Roo is a running foundation that uses races to raise awareness of special-needs orphans and gives grants to families in the process of adopting (run4roo.com). In October 2026 Mission Creative audited its brand and website and built a new identity, a logo system, a social kit and a client preview site, all grounded in what the team already looks like on race morning.

Mission Creative is a church production and creative company, founded in 2004 by Dave Bookhout and Heredes Ribeiro and based in Tampa, Florida, that builds brands, sermon series and capital campaign creative, video, audio/video/lighting production systems, websites, and AI training and workflows for churches nationwide.

Concept render of a Run4Roo 'Run them home' start-line banner over a crowd of runners in orange shirts
The challenge

A rebrand built from race morning.

The foundation's strongest brand asset was barely on its website. In race photos the team is a wall of blaze-orange shirts around a jogging stroller with a child in it, and its grant captions (“Forever a” followed by the family's name) carried real emotion. The site buried all of it: no impact numbers, no way to sign up to run, and a donate page still promoting a giving program that had shut down years earlier.

The idea: Build the brand from race morning. The new line is “Run them home.” The name stays Run4Roo; “No Orphan Left Behind” moves to the foundation seal and footer.
